The Parish School
The purpose of the parish school is to:
1) instruct Orthodox children in the Orthodox Faith,
2) to reaffirm a love for Russian culture.
Currently they have 30 children enrolled. They are taught the Law of God (Zakon Bozhki), Russian Language and literature, and Russian History. A special emphasis is placed in teaching the younger children basic Orthodox prayers, and in teaching the older students to read in Old Church Slavonic. Students are also instructed in music. Currently, Miss. Larissa Rodzianko has assumed responsibilities in conducting the children's church choir.
Rev. Peter Burlakov is the director of the school. If you wish for more information about the program and/or wish to enroll your child in St. Sergius Russian Orthodox Church school, please email Fr. Peter
or call him at (440) 743-0609
